"Hidden away on a back street just north of Finsbury Park, the Faltering Fullback is a distinctly better alternative than any other pub within the vicinity of the station. It stocks an impressive range of draught and bottled beers, and has a friendly, laid-back local atmosphere. There's also an impressively cavernous back room full of picnic tables and a pool table, that appears to attract a younger crowd than the front area. In keeping with its name the pub regularly screens football and rugby, though its pretty unobtrusive and quite possible to enjoy your drink if you're not interested in the game.
